It is with this vision that Inwood Hotels officially launched, at the beginning of 2026, a partnership with Surfrider Foundation Europe, a leading association dedicated to the protection of oceans and coastlines.
A committed partner for the preservation of the Ocean
Founded in 1990, Surfrider Foundation Europe is now one of the most active environmental organizations working on marine environments in Europe. Fighting plastic pollution, monitoring bathing water quality, mobilizing citizens, and advocating with institutions: the association acts across the entire chain, from the beaches of the Atlantic to the Mediterranean shores.
These areas are closely aligned with Inwood Hotels’ destinations, making the partnership all the more coherent.
A fundraising campaign open all summer
To bring this commitment to life, Inwood Hotels is launching a fundraising campaign on June 8, to mark World Ocean Day. Throughout the summer, until August 31, guests, team members and ocean lovers will be able to contribute freely through a dedicated fundraising platform.
All donations will be donated to Surfrider Foundation Europe to help fund its field actions and awareness programs.
No minimum amount is required: the initiative is open to everyone, with a focus on collective mobilization rather than institutional patronage.
A commitment rooted in the group’s CSR strategy
This partnership is part of the ongoing social and environmental responsibility approach that Inwood Hotels has been developing for several years. As many of the group’s hotels are located near the water, Inwood Hotels considers the preservation of these environments to be an essential part of its tourism model.
